Location From: Foggy Notion (68.81.66.126), NEW JERSEY
Bill..where were the Gambler and Norma-K fishing (inshore or offshore). I'll probably fish the river for fluke tomorrow just to keep the river fluke honest. I'll post my results.

I didn't see where they went. I just saw them leave the dock. Check the Gambler's web site or his posts on NJfishing. I only know that the bigger fish are still in the deeper water off the beach about 1.5 to 2 miles. Watch the tides in the river. They don't seem to be timed right for early morning fishing. High tide is in the middle of the day! I'm seeing more killies off our dock lately. The blues are still where they were last month but not as many. There are bunkers just off the inlet from south to north. If there isn't much boat traffic, give it a try. There's also a lot of small bait in the wash. The flatties sometimes come in close when the water is cold. If the bait is there, it might be worth a try. Good luck!
