9.6 # Fluke From: Bill K (209.158.162.114), NEW JERSEY The fluke that John's party boated yesterday weighed 9.6lbs. It goes to prove that bucktails take big fish.
Yesterday's Big Fluke From: Capt. John of Reel Fun (173.3.45.115), NEW JERSEY Yes, that fish did weigh 9.6 lbs and was caught on a bucktail drifting Flynns Knoll on outgoing tide in 34' water. Bill, Thanks for the "kudo's" If you want to see the fish go to: www.reelfunsportfishing.com/photospg2.htm to see Wayne with his 9.6 (almost doormat) Fluke
Squan to Rocks From: Chuck Gainey (64.12.116.209), ALABAMA Bill,
Did the same area yesterday. Picked two Bass 32 Inches, chunked just off the beach 19Ft. water @ the Rocks. No action under Bunker Schools on the way up, but they were flashing. Something was pestering them. I did see some chunkers pickup some decent sized Blues, but I did not catch any. Had a decent Fluke bite off Monmouth Beach better keeper ratio then I am used to. I may consider putting the boat back in a slip. The old impolite boat ramp is wearing me down.

report From: Bri (24.0.84.71), NEW JERSEY We live lined the bunker schools from Asbury up to Long Branch. We tried from 15 feet out to 50 feet. We didn't even have a run off after about 4 hours. We switched over to Flukin at the Red Church Rocks. We boated about 20 Fluke and all but 2 were shorts. Most between 15-17 inches. The two keepers were 20 and 21 inches. We also had about 6-8 Sea Bass of which one was a keeper. At least the weather was nice! To add a remark to this report click here.Click here to return to report
