Up the River From: Docco (74.95.190.106), NEW JERSEY
Cliff, just curious,is there alot of people fishing the river?

The reason I asked is there used to be very few of us that took advantage of that fishery. My Dad started me in those two rivers back in the 50's.He kept his boat over @ Chris's Landing which is townhouses now on the shrews. River. There's some really decent bass spots in both rivers too;but I'm sure you know that already.

Again I say nice catch guys!!!

The River From: Cliff (138.89.41.145), NEW JERSEY
Docco, The river is not as crowded as you might think. There are a dedicated few who fish the river religiously, but the majority of the boats leave the river searching for "greener pastures". When we took pictures on the dock this past Tuesday I had a guy who keeps his boat in the marina stop and admire the fish. He asked us where we had caught them and seemed surprised when I told him that we caught most of the fluke within 500 yds of the marina. When Jim and I fished the mouth of the Shrewsbury in my boat years ago it was the same story. We would be catching fish "hand over fist" while hundreds of boats just past us by heading towards the outside. Tight Lines! TINKNOCKER
