| Tog fishing From: Optic Nerve (67.83.31.35), NEW JERSEY Cliff, Thank you for your report from the Canal. Along time ago, I attempted to play golf. I eventually got pretty decent at it. The first 5 or 6 rounds every year for me were very ugly. The same holds for tog fishing. The first couple of trips have a lot of swings and misses. After killing a few dozen crabs, the hook ups, as you know, get more consistent. I consider you a way above average fishermen from your reporting over the years. I appreciate your honest reports. Blackfish From: Ralph (71.126.88.226), ALABAMA Good report thanks ! My hook up ratio went up when i twisted my hook with a mild offset, also when I used a "Kahle "style hook. Unfortunatly these are wire hooks that bend and I do straighten some out on the rocks .
