Maybe Steely or some other guys who use "yaks" can share some safety tips. The fact that there were really no other boats around like in the summer made it even more likely there would be a slim chance to be found. You're right. The right time at the right place. I know the guy realized his mistake could have been costly. I doubt if he'll try it again....at least in the ocean.....maybe in the bay.
