Thought I would take the boast out for a spin on tuesday, Threw some gulp eeels and fresh clams along structure around the hook Nada.. but then I dropped down to the bottom between the sticks 40-60' There are stripers there!

That is a very long cast from where I was on Wednesday. Even with the wind at my back I don't think I could reach out there. There was nothing along the beach so they had to be somewhere. That area you are talking about has always been a good stretch especially with worms at this time of the year. I haven't tried the new Gulp eels but they sure must be easier to put on a hook than the real things.
