Monmouth Beach From: Bill K (76.116.198.219), NEW JERSEY
Jim, that area had lots of bait on Sunday but not too many fish. Most of the fish were bluefish. The water was a little off color too. We saw the beginning of the beach restoration project as pumping was going on just south of the old Coast Guard Station. I'm interested to know if they were pumping yesterday. Interestingly, there is dredging going on in Lake Louise (Pt. Pleasant). The road leading to the Lobster Shanty and also Broadway have pipes across them which are covered with asphalt like huge speed bumps.
