Nar. Bay From: Chas. Bid. (169.146.191.10), NEW YORK
Was on the west side of Jamestown over the weekend. Tried my flyrod with deceivers but had no luck Saturday evening. Perhaps too early in the season or too impatient. Will return throughout the summer. Have had luck off the north end of the island in the past. Small fish but fun on light tackle.

Striper fishing From: Ralph B (12.159.132.170), RHODE ISLAND
I would love to know how to catch stripers in the Bay, and would apreciate any help. I have owned a boat for about 6 years, and keep it in wickford cove. i usually take the kids out for fluke, blues, sea bass, and scup. not that we try really hard to fish for Bass, but when we do, we come up empty. I have landed one Bass since i have owned the baot, and sadly enough, my wife hooked it while we were jigging for fluke, right outside Wickford. my thoughts are that the fish are there, im just not catching them. Thanks
