Subject: Gulf of Maine, Maine

Submitted by Capt. Walt Gibson (ip 129.63.80.77)

Water Temperature: 40
Water Clarity: Gin Clear
Seas: Blue/Green
Weather: A blustery day. Just a bit nippy
Fishing_for: COD/Haddock
Boat: Rainbow chaser
captain: Capt. Walt Gibson

Report:
With the NEW commercial groundfish regulations limits of 200 lbs of COD per day. The Charterboat fishing should get better every day! The fish are hitting on clams as usual and norweigen jigs & teasers. Blue and black are hot colors in yarn teasers and tan and white is better when the weather warms up.

Theres to many chores to be done around the homestead before the Charter season starts in April; so; I've got an idea.

If any of you guys would like to swap your labor in exchange for a charter trip(s) of equal value give me a call. I need help with the following stuff.

1) House painting (outside) in Massachusetts & Maine 2) Cord wood cut, split and delivered to the house in Mass & Maine 3) Hot top driveway at my house in Mass 4) Top soil at my house in Mass and the house in Maine 5) Fieldstone wall building at the house in Mass 6) Build a garden shed in Maine 7) Build a new deck at the house in Maine 8) My Chevy pickup truck could use a new clutch and a paintjob. 9) I could use a chest freezer for Bait.

Give me a call and we will talk it over. Capt. Walt (978) 957-5865 With the NEW commercial groundfish regulations limits of 200 lbs of COD per day.
