Report:
Wanted to go fishing last night for refish and just got to much of a late start. The batteries in the boat were dead so we decided to go pier fishing. We headed for the colesium pier and I was amazed at the amount of bait in the water. Making a long story short, I almost cut my finger off, got stuck by a hardhead(never happened before and boy do I feel like an idiot), then my luck changed and I caught a nice bull red. She was 38" and 24lbs. She is still swimming the sound, I just don't like the way the big ones taste, plus they are a pain in the arse to clean. This is my second bull this week off of piers. It sure is a lot easier to go down there to the piers then breaking out the boat in the evenings.
