Water Temperature: 70's
Water Clarity: 1-1.5 ft
Seas: Protected (calm)
Weather: Slightly overcast and around 80 degrees. Wind was out of the north at about 8-12 mph.
Fishing_for: Speckled Trout
Boat: 17 Mako (Prime Time)
captain: Me

Report:
Fishing a rising tide in the evening. Didnt put in until about 4:30 in the afternoon.

Fishing the water between the I-110 Bridge and the Ocean Springs Bridge. Find the birds and you have found the trout.....it is that easy right now. I have been on 10/16, 10/17, and 10/18 and have not caught less than 35 in any one evening. Not big trout but you can get 8 or 9 keepers out of the bunch. For sheer numbers you cant beat it. Great for the kids (bite every cast under the birds) Something to do when you cant get out in the gulf.

1/4 ounce red jig head with a avocado/red sparkle cocahoe about 16" under popping cork. Also catching some on topwater (zara spook and spittin image)
