Report:
got a couple dozen live shrimp and headed to a few spots on the river. i hate weekend fishing because of the crowded ramps but i really needed to run my boat. tried a few spots with nothing biting but the gnats. wound up in the middle of marsh lake only because i knew i could get a little relief from the gnats if i was a half mile from the marsh grass. i had very limited time but managed about a dozen specks, all were 13.5 inches of course-back in the drink. i accomplished what i set out to do, the yamaha ran perfectly and i did catch a few fish(for which i am grateful). glad also that i have some fish in the freezer-gotta get those babies thawed. be kind to mother n.
