Report:
Caught our limit of lemon fish (30 to 45 #'s) while jigging rigs with feather type jigs with fresh cut-bait attached as trailers. too much current for decent snapper fishing. accidently caught a couple of small bonita and kings during our efforts.
we never saw another sport fishing boat while we were out. guess everyone else got frightened with the rough seas early in the morning. we got lucky and waited till it calmed enough to fish. we caught a few sharks while waitng on the north side of petit bois isle.
good luck and calmer conditions.
