10-15 Monterey Report
The Star of Monterey put 81 albacore on the deck for 15 anglers. About 1/2 caught on live sardines, some on fish traps and the remainder on the troll. Many bites missed due to anglers attempting to set the hook too soon before the fish swallowed the bait. One experienced angler landed 14 fish. Fish charged the boat several times with a steady pick most of the day.
