Report:
Left out of the Ocean Springs Marina about 8:30am and headed to Cat Island. Started fishing the sand bars near the stumps at 9:00am. Using live shrimp under a popping cork. The first cast produced a nice Red. Caught my limit here and some school size trout. Tried fishing a topwater plug and golden spoon with no results. Tried several other areas at Cat with no luck.
Moved to the cut just east of Camille cut on East Ship Island. Started Fishing the shallows and beach at 1:00pm. Over the next hour tried every kind of artifical, but no luck. Got back to the boat were the wife limited out on Reds using dead shrimp. She caught the Reds in the shallows of the cut. We caught some nice Reds until we ran out of shrimp. Headed back to Ocean Springs at about 3:00pm with a nice limit of Reds and a few specks.
Until next time. TIGHT LINES!!!!!!!!!!
