Report:
started out at 6am from beau rivage resort where we boarded the 23 ft. mako of capt. kennt bellais.we headed out for the islands that were in the far distance of the hotel, at first we found bait but no specks but, as the day went on the conditions started to improve the outgoing tide started to move and with that capt. kenny moved us down towards the end of the island where the water moves around the point, we noticed lots of baitfish running for their lives so we anchored close to the first gut off the island and i used my newest product called a SCENT TRAIL SPOON and on the secondf cast nailed a 4 lb. speck, later many more came on this spoon and popping cork rigs such as the THREE-IN-ONE CORK RIG as we limited on reds and specks, all in about 1 1/2 hours, once we located them the action was fast and furious. all specks were between 2-1/2 to 4 lbs and reds between 5-6 lbs. we left them biting due to check out hotel time obligations!
