Report:
My dad had a funeral to go to so he didn't get to the boat until noon. I was gassed up, full of bait, and ready to go when he got there. We headed towards Miah Maul but decided to cut it short and stop at #1 buoy. Everybody said it was beautiful in the morning, that changed real quick with the wind going against the tide. We sat there without any drift at all and I really had to work for the 5 throwback flounder, 2 weakfish, and 1 blue.
We stayed overnight on the boat and tried to get out on sunday morning but we just came right back in because of the wind. This was not a good week for me at all. On the bright side I have been seeing some big flounder coming in. 5 to 7 pounders have been taken every weekend from Miah Maul to 14 foot lighthouse.
