Report:
Started for Miah Maul and we were side tracked for 1/2 hour by a whale sighting. We got within 150 feet of him and saw him come straight out of the water 4 or 5 times. Watched him surface for air quite a few times and overall it was a pretty neat experience.

Back to fishing. We started out on the west side of the channel and didn't do much there at all despite the growing fleet of boats. We headed south towards 19 and started to pick up a few flounder. Thats when the blues started. They were bigger than the usual bay blues and were alot of fun for awhile. After they left us things slowed down and we picked up and moved towards 14 foot light where the fleet was growing. We picked up a few flounder and we were invaded by the croakers. We caught a lot of croakers and some of them hit the 18" mark. We ended the day with 5 or 6 keeper flounder (none above 19"), about 15 croakers, and 15 blues. I think we threw back about 10 flounder and a ton of croakers and blues. A great day on the bay with my dad. Beautiful weather and a bunch of fish.
