Report:
Wow......jigging for cod on the back side of the shoals, whales swimming around us......I just boat two 36" cod (jig) and less than 50' off the back of the boat a small pod (?) of 35-50lb tuna break the surface......thought they were just blues at first but they were so close we could see their eyes and tails.....unbelievable sight...
Later we anchored for blues near the lighthouse and caught several blues.....largest at 36" and smallest at 27"......
**day before less than 1/4 mile from where we saw the tuna we watched two guys on a lobster boat land a nice bluefin.........seems like we ought to get rigged up for them
