Report:
Didn't want to fish today because of my luck yesterday but it is the only day me and my dad have off together. We were anchored at 39.09; 75.10 area right at the dropoff by 6:30. We caught a few weakies and hooked into 3 cow nosed rays. One of which almost spooled us. Action was steady with short weakies and flounder and some junkfish. We picked up and moved to Miah Maul to try for some sea bass. We caught a bunch of them but they were all short. When tide picked up we drifted with the outgoing and caught some short fluke. We then moved to the 25 buoy and immediately picked up a 20" fluke and a 21" weakie. Drifted thru there a couple more times but nothing else really happened. We ended the day with 4 weakfish and one flounder. We saw a turtle for the first time this year in the bay. Try again next week.
