Visiting from NY we took a Twi-Light trip since all day trips were booked or chartered. Trip lasts from 6PM to 9:30PM. Captain and crew were very nice and very helpful. It was a little disappointing to spend almost two hours riding and relatively little time fishing. It would seem that on these Twi-Light trips closer fishing grounds should be found. The three of us caught 19 fish - they looked like what we Easterners call Kingfish and they called croakers or sandbass. We also caught the pool fish. Used live anchovies and squid fished in about 100 feet of water. On a previous trip to Santa Barbara we enjoyed a greater variety of fish than we did this time. The boat sails out of Sea Landing and does offer a pleasant experience so I recommend it, but it is probably better on day time trips.There are 1 to this report click here to see them
