    Report:
Saturday, fished the Santa Cruz side of Monterey Bay looking for Salmon. Rigged, anchovied and ready. Clear upon arrival and then fogged in and got thick. The wind picked up and cleared to a beautiful day but the Salmon were not biting. Radio was active but only few catches reported. We had no hits but some bait stealers. Switched to rock cod rigs and fished for about two hours with only one rock cod and it got off. Arrived back at Santa Cruz to a zoo at the ramp. Lots of Grady White boats and people but it all worked out without any delays loading the trailer. Sunday, fished out of Moss Landing and headed out at 210 degrees. Stopped at 6.5 miles out to fog and lots of birds on the water. Painted lots of bait on the sonar but no Salmon. Mooched for an hour or so and moved. No boats in sight. Mooched some more and found two Salmon and only one to net, nice, fat fish about 17-20 lbs. Seas layed down then came up to about 4-6' so we left. Great weather both days but learned alot about the fog and fishing the Bay. Hopefully more to come.
