Submitted by Bo French (ip 208.0.47.37)

Water Temperature: .
Water Clarity: 8' - 10'
Seas: Calm
Weather: Clear. Wind light and variable.
Fishing_for: Tuna
Boat: Vada
captain: Gene Lockerman

Report:
Hit the north east end of the "Hot Dog" about 0730 and started chunking with cut butterfish. Did this for five hours without a hit. None of the boats in our immediate area had any hook ups.

Then moved to the "Hambone" on our way home and used the last of our bait chunking and drifting. Nothing. A small boat next to us did have a hook up but we never got to se what it was. The boat left anchor and the fish was leading them eastward. We left after an hour and a half and they were still fighting the fish about 2 miles east of where they started.
