# 46444: Subject: gulf of mexico, Mississippi

Submitted by guy (ip 64.12.96.76)

Water Temperature: 90
Water Clarity: 3'
Seas: 2 feet
Weather: isolated thunderstorms, 85 degrees
Fishing_for: sharks, mackerel
Boat: Blue Bayou
captain: Fountain

Report:
When we got to the marine the we ended up being 2 people short for the trip. The captain had to call these old folks who had not known the night before if they were going to go or not. I ended up having to wait about an hour and an half before leaving on an 8hour trip. We ended up only going about 8 miles out to the barrier islands. We caught about 20 sharks. Everyone else had been doing good with the kings so we started to troll. We trolled 4 to 5 hours only catching 3 spanish. I would strongly suggest having your own party if you plan on going on a charter.
