Report:
I took the wife and boys (6 & 4) to the Bay today and had the best day of the year (5th trip down) even though I never touched a pole (except to bait & take fish off).
Fished the east side of the G buoy from 30 to 45 feet of water with great success on croakers and a couple of flounder (2 out of 3 were keepers) up to and through high tide. Positioned east of the G buoy at various depths and had a north drift. Deeper waters did not produce. We also had a large school of fish (I believe mackerel) around us during the tide change. Fished the top hook plain which produced on the croakers and a pink or green flounder rig on the bottom. We also had a lonely shark and a few crabs. Also tried the F buoy to start, but had very little markings and a very few bites.
