Report:
Left dock on Monday at 4:30pm and went 52 miles out to the Dump. Tied up in the middle of an area where several big boats were draggin' - put the water lights in and immediately had a ton of squid up. Jigged up a few and put down a fresh herring and SLAM fish on... 150 pound Mako that jumped 4 times... we proceeded to catch 16 Blue Sharks 100 - 400 pounds until we were worn out. Didn't really even chunk much - dragger activity/lights/squid kept sharks around for hours. Ran South 14 miles in the AM and started trolling - couldn't find anything but skipjacks so we cruised back North and picked up a bunch of dolphin/dorado including a nice 17 pounder in beautiful blue water (40 35 916 / 71 02 644)... looking for LFT and YFT to no avail but had a blast anyway!
