Report:
I was loading my 22 Footer this morning @ 6AM, I fella a few slips down from me asked if I would head out with him in his 33 Ft. Sportfisherman. I was spoiled all day, its like fishing in your living room. I didn't miss the loud outboard and the sore feet.

We headed out to the Barnegat Ride to troll up some Albies. After 2 hours of dragging everything in the box, not even a run-off. I saw about 15 boats trolling the same area and I saw not one fish caught.I heard some guys at Ollies ask if it was worthwhile to head back to the ridge, I guess it was the same result there.Tried a few Fluke drifts before leaving, nothing but skates and one short Fluke. We headed inshore off Harvey Cedars in 65 Ft. of water and picked on the Croakers, with the fleet. We ended up with 8 nice size Croakers and a few 2 Lbs. Bluefish caught while reeling in baits.

I heard nothing but " Wheres the Fluke" on the radio today. I still have not caught an Ablie this season.

I got a crack at taking the 33 Footer back thru the inlet, the new " No Wake Zone" behind the inlet had the boats stacked up. It was alot safer before the change.

Chuck
