Report:
Hit the Port Monmuth Beach Beach last night just before sundown and again this morning at sunrise. Landed many small bluefish on both trips. The fish were between 2 to 7 pounds and all were released for another day. The larger fish were landed on large poppers and the smaller fish on metal. The large popers were hit often by the smaller blues but with the larger hooks kept them from hooking up and giving the larger blues a chance to hook up. Pleanty of peanut bunker in the wash.

Thank you Jim Balicki for your posting that led me to the fish. See you on the beach..... I also never fish the pier due to the heavy crowds and all the great fishing right on the beach.
