- Report received: 10/15/02
Water Temperature: 70's Water Clarity: 1 ft. Seas: Calm Weather: Sat. windy and some drizzle
Sun. Clear and calm Fishing_for: Croaker / Sea Trout Boat: None captain: Me
Report: Took my son and nephews fishing Sat. and Sun. Caught a mixed bag of fish Croaker 3, Spot 4, Sea Trout 2, Snapper Blue Fish 8, Short Stripper, a big eel and a assortment of garbage fish (toad fish, skates and dog sharks). I only listed the keepers many throwbacks and the action was not steady. Oh Yea, we used mullet chunks, bloodworm and chicken for
bait (mullet chunks the best).
My son has been fishing since he was three and he is now 11 and I can see his knowledge will easily surpass his papa's and perhaps he will take me fishing when I am older (I m 38).
We search maps and study reports for good shoreline locations to fish, so if you know of any share the knowledge.
PS Teach a kid to fish and May God Bless The Shoreline Fishermen.
