Report:
set out of sunset marina 5;00 with my son and his friend eric and john from work. set anchor still light out, boys hooked up on first few casts, then continued to catch fish on topwater using freshwater crankbaits and floating arc minnows. fished till tide slacked up catching 50-60 fish with largest being 24'' eric's 14 birthday was the next day and he caught more than everybody else on the boat making a great birthday present. he was excited about it and was just testing some fresh water bait and was catching them on that to just goes to show you when they are feeding they will bite almost anything. remember to change split rings on fresh water lures because stipers will straighten them out. we were in about 6-8 feet of water and the tide was in coming. so we pulled out some diving set ups and we started to pull in some bigger fish for a better fight. fish on!!! we will update you later if have any success.
