Water Temperature: 39 Water Clarity: Good Seas: Flat Weather: . Fishing_for: Rockfish Boat: Sweet Caroline captain: Mike Campbell
Report: Ran out of Deltaville around 7:00 and headed north from an earlier report. Bay looked like a ghost town, but we were marking a lot of bait. Started trolling with Mojo's , Spoons, Shad, and Mega Baits the normal green and white. It didn't take us long to get our limit of fat 36" to 38" fish. We continued fishing releasing 30 pound fish. We heard several reports of fish up to 51". After a great day fishing we stopped by J&W Seafood and got to see a nice 49 pound fish.
We thought that the fishing was over in the middle Bay, but it looks like it's turning on again. It's to bad the Bay season is over, but it's great to be able to release the big reproducing fish and see them swim away.
Good luck to everyone in the ocean hope to see you out there!
