  Report:
  Fished MS & Chandeleur Islands last week. Picked up scattered specs and reds in a pocket wading on the north west side of Cat Island in or near deep cuts. Caught all fish on topwaters of various colors. All fish were holding over mud near the grassy points in 2-3 feet of water. Reds were scattered in the cuts also mainly holding over mud in about 2 ft of water. Made 3 trips to the Chandeleurs. The specs were pretty scattered, but both Bullreds and 18-24" reds were pretty easy to come by drifting or wading the flats near cuts fishing over grass beds with topwaters.
