Report:
Fished the James river from the James river bridge, hit the newports news shipyard, then fished over the tunnel. Fishing was extremely slow all day until around 3:00 when we anchored at one end of the tunnel and managed to get into several medium sized croaker. These croaker were pretty small for Va. croaker. Not sure why the bite was slow except for possibly too much fresh water coming down, too breezy, or maybe it's just too early for them. Had a great day though, caught maybe 50 croaker all day, and kept maybe 25 of them.
