Report:
2 hour trip to Tilles in flat seas. Just enough breeze for drift fishing about 0.3 kt. Jigs were the ticket today. Some nice fish! Not an awful lot numbers-wise but excellent size. 6 fish in cooler included Cod of 32, 23, 17, 12, 10 and 8 lbs. Other sharpies had similar success - 5 or 6 real nice fish. The big cod coughed up a 12" haddock on the deck - hence the success of jigging. At least a dozen fish on boat over 20 lbs! Fewer dogfish around than last few trips. Saw a 15+ ft. basking shark as a bonus.
