Report: fished everynight this week. went crabbin last night.started last sunday afternoon of the peir with 2 sons after locating massive amounts of baby bunker we had a feild day on fluke and huge sea robbins. lots a fun on small rods. most of the fluke were throw backs except for a half dozen 18-20 inch matts that we released anyway. we must have looked like the dynamic duo to everyone using frozen bait dead worms and not catching nothing. the very second those live peanuts hit the bottom somthing was eating them. everyone then wanted
some so i spread the fun around and they were still catching fish when we left. went out to lighthouse on the boat late monday afternoon with a bucket of live peanuts and caught even bigger fluke and bigger sea robbins a few sea bass a few baby stripers and a 5 lb doormat on the last cast before leaving. great fun! kept that sucker for lemon butter white wine filets. on the way in what do ya know. found blues and bass tearing those peanuts apart and been catching them every night on plugs from shore ever since in raids of peunut bunker. all the 3-4 lb blues and bass you can ask for but nothing bigger. storm rubber shads and broken backs fished slow on the surface is all that seems to work. snapper fishng stinks off the docks.small and few. went for blue crabs late last night at dead low tide and took 10 crabs in a hour and did miss a few others. seems to be big male crabs only. tight lines!!!!
