Report:
We had Tommy T. and the boys out tues. night for some Misquamicut fluke. Drifted a few areas with not much to show but a few skates and a few stolen baits. We kept heading east trying to find where the fluke we more concentrated. Well, our efforts paid off as we found what fisherman like to refer to as the honey hole. In about 45 feet of water the fish were stacked up on and around a small reef in the middle of nowhere. As we passed by the reef dodging the pots the guys could barely get their baits down before they either had a fish or had a hit. Tommy even scored a double header on one pass. A 23" fish took the jig and a 19" fish took the teaser. All in all the guys had plenty of action and plenty of fresh fillets for the freezer. Richie even caught a 26" striper we thought was a monster fluke. Also, I marked loads of fish and bait on the fishfinder at watch hill point on the way out.
