Report: went Surf fishing at Cape Henlopen. used bunker on a two hook rig with floats.
got tons of bites but only pulled in two snaper blues and 5 14" dogfish.
everyone told me dogfish is a crapy shark.
well have you ever tried to grill one or bake it in the oven wrapped in foil with some butter and dill?
not bad, not bad at all. hey! don't knock it till you tried it. need a three footer or better for stakes.
eat up on Dogfish , I read a study that they can really but a dent on the crad and lobster population. les dogfish more crabs and lobster for us.
