Report:
Left the dock @ about 11:45 am. Got to the 10 mile boxcars at 12:30.
Dragged dead cigars for 2 hours around huge boiling bait balls. No knockdowns, so we went to the 5 mile boxcars. Didn't stay there long-no strikes. Frustrated, we sped over to the Liberty Ship. Lines were in the water for 5-10 minutes and the downrigger line went off. After a relatively short fight, we had a nice "snake" king in the boat.
The wind was starting to pick up and it was time to head in anyway.
The king was put to good use as delicious table fare (blackenend on the grill) and ice cold beer of course.
Beautiful day on the water. You should take advantage of the fishing and this weather before it's time to winterize the boat!
David
