Report:
Had a great day with the Tail-Chaser.com fishing team. We fished the Bull River Marina Trout Tournament. Had a super time, with some great company. New area for myself, but we managed to boat over 75 trout and a dozen redfish for the day. All but six trout were less than legal size. I believe we could of easily passed the century mark with the trout, but we ran out of fresh shrimp around midday. Switched to artificial and some old skunk chum shrimp that I use to chum the area as we fish it. Finished somewhere in the middle of the pack of sixty anglers. There were some fantastic fish turned in that day. If we would of produced some larger trout, we would of been near the top of finishers. I wish I would of scouted the area and asked some locals about their spots prior to heading up. We had a great time and got plenty of notice with the tail-chaser.com team shirts and other advertisement. The rules seem to give way to possible misconduct, because you could bring fish that were not alive. It would be possible to fish all week and bring in your biggest fish, but I'm sure everyone is honest and would never do something like that to win??? We appreciated the hospitality and look forward to next year. We are moving our business to the Tampa area to pursue greater things in the charter business, but I promised my partners we would do it again next year. Check out our weekly fishing reports on www.tail-chaser.com. The Tail Chaser shirts are finally complete look great and are available for the give away price of 10 bucks for a long sleeve.
