Report:
We launched out of Turners today and went directly to Richardsons where there was one short and three keepers, the bite was awfuly slow so we headed toward Turners Rock, eating lunch on the way. Nothing at the rock except the annoying yellowfins. We took a ride to Isle of Hope and nothing there either. Decided to try another area in Herb River (our first time there but not our last) and wound up with another four nice trout with two shorts. All fish came on that old reliable DOA shrimps, cream and cream with sparkles. Water clarity in Herb River was the best we saw all day. Now I gotta take Miss Evelyn out to supper, can't possiibly ask someone to cook after a day on the water.
Tight lines to all,
Jim Clausen
