    Report:
Evelyn and I fished today, launching out of Turners and going directly to the Herb River. Hit the water about 0900 and by 1115 hours we had eight (8) keeper Trout in the live well. If the shorts we caught by that time were legal in size we would have limited at 15 Trout each. We wound up catching 13 keeper Trout and releasing in excess of 50 short Trout today. We moved about 1200 hours because it was lunch time and the short Trout were comming on about every other cast. We moved out to the middle of the river and started eating lunch and upon completion of lunch we went down to the sound, through Joe's cut and fished the back side of that area. NADA there. We tried several other places and nada there also. We wound up back in the Herb and caught the additional five trout there. The small ones were still there also. I know the old addage of "Never leave fish to find fish" and today that was true. Home about 1630 hours. All fish were caught on DOA Shrimp. Tight Lines to all, James (Jim) Clausen
