we got a late start and had to pick up some lures and such but we got out there in time we got setup an started we had two pole with live shrimp on it we did not got much so we went in search of the salt ponds we got there and did not got a bite so we decide to ride out in the big water since it was so calm we just got are boat last summer and the farest we got was in front of the beach so we ride out about 4 miles and it was nice so we headed back in and trolled and so dead trees and i had a live shrimp on my line and the time i threw it out the fish took the cork right under and i had him are frist red of the day he was about 16ins we had a couple of more hit but no more keepers so we started back to the landing and the lord must trying to tell us so thing because when you come out of wassaw you need to make a wide wide turn because we hit the sandbar but now we will be heading back to the landing when it is light but we got off and got back safe and hope to have more calm sea like that day so you on the water and take it easy.
