Report:
Went out with a buddy today. Attempted to hit my spots that were on fire three weeks ago. The Savannah River was a mess with the NW winds howling. We were in a small Key West, and did not fare well. Decided to head into Lazeretto Creek and find some shelter from the wind. Fished all over the place to include the Bull River up to Turners Creek. Managed to pull one decent trout out of Turners with a cajun thunder and live shrimp. Fished for five hours. Not a great day. I am certain the abrupt cold front, put the remaining coastal fish into shock for a few days. I may be done for the season, unless something changes. A day on the water, is better than a day cutting grass any day.
