Report:
It was a low tide today! Does anybody have the latest #'s on the pass through the north end of St. Cats (bird island)? That baby has changed.
Anyway...had a 6hr charter today with some pretty experienced guys. They did great and made it easy for me. We hardly lost any tackle (except hooks which is expected). They were great and accurate casters even in the stiff wind.
Good clean water was easy to find.
Spot #1 medway river ....0.
Spot #2 Walberg... one sting ray .
OK by now I 'm getting nervous. Spot #3 McQueens. Reds (13-22" and a dozen or so and Black drum 9-13" and ended up with a dozen of those.
Seas laid down nicely on the ride home.
All fish caught on shrimp and floats or carolina rig. Nothing on the artificials we tried. Not a bad extended weekend for the Polishfly. We landed about 40 reds in 2 trips! and its March.
I'll try to get some more photos on my site on Monday.
