Report:
Tried the back river, Savannah. Once again the tide never really bottomed out. Water started out at a chilly 48 and was 50 on the ride in. The reds wouldnt touch a shrimp. Then I started throwing everything in the tackle box at them. We had a 5 minute period where we caught and released 3 reds around 19 inches. All fish came on chartruse screw-tails w/ red or white head retrieved extreemly slow. I think a school might have just been cruising by. The fish were not as tight to structure and all the bites came within 5-10 feet of the boat.
I saw a few schools of mullet and smaller bait fish. I wish I had some mud minnows, I think that might have been the ticket today. Sorry no photos. We did have a Bald Eagle riding the currents above us for a good part of the day. It was pretty cool to see that.

I was marking large schools of fish in 35 feet of water (in a hole on a creek bend) about 5-10 feet off the bottom. We dropped a line but no luck. Any guesses to what the might have been? I was thinking trout.
