Report:
Ran into a buddy of mine yesterday evening and decided to give the inshore thing a try. The big tide and recent rains made it hard to find fish on my normal drops. We decided to drop for whiting. They bit everything shrimp, squid, artificials.... they hit everything. The best bait was fresh/dead shrimp. I'm taking my 4 y/old Sunday, if it all works out. I'm not sure of the take as I ran out of fingers and toes to count them on. All the whiting had mud lines on their bellies where they have been over wintering in the silt.
