Report:
the water hardly had a ripple as we pulled out of our slip at jekyll harbor. our destination was the A reef just a few miles south east of our port. we arrived at the bouy about 9:00 and in no time we were over structure and anchored down. as soon as the baits hit the bottom the action started. everyone was hooked up and hollering for help when the dust settled we had a 22 inch red and thirty three keeper black sea bass also about 15 other fish of various types. all in all not a bad first outing of the year. hope to see some better weather in our area soon.
