Report: We took our annually trip North for our Freezer filling Cod trip. On 4/16
We fished on the Norah K with Capt Frank and Mate John and let me tell you they were the best. Capt Frank took us to a spot he fished a few days ago and it was still loaded with fish. The fist fish was in the boat at 8 am and it was nonstop action until the tide changed then we just pick at them.
Capt John suggested we make a move East were the Haddock were. When we arrived we found a whole lot a boat not doing mush, so we said lets give it chance. Capt. Frank Look around a pit and Bammm…. We found the Haddock. And it was a nice steady pick. One thing I notice was the other boats were not pulling in the fish as we were and I heard some load WHAT THE H-LL are they using over their….
Hay Guys its called bait and a GOOD Captain. Named Frank…
Anyway the hot hand on the boat was Moe and Cliff from West Orange, with Charles also form West Orange doing his thing. Floyd from West Orange was the troublemaker I believe he got tangled with everybody on the boat. And to my father Al Sr. at age 75 from Trenton made his last minute blast when we found the Haddock.
The days total was 70 Cod and 50 Haddock
What a great day of fishing.
