Report:
Had a trip on a private boat on friday for tuna. I went out with Larry Abbot and his family and friends. We left the dock and caught some nice pogies and then rolled on south to the floaters. First two baits in the water yeilded a 100 pound class yellow and a 40 pounder. It stayed that way till we ran out of pogies after the fifth yellowfin and 2nd nice dolphin. They werent really interested in a chum bite yesterday. We caught all the fish on 6/0 frenzy hooks on 50 pound leader on the upcurrent side. You have to be real careful trolling pogies in a 3 knot current as they dont last too well. When you fish them it is more of a slow troll backwards.
