Report: Fished Monday May 16th with Steve Rollenhagen, Bob Sherrin, Sam Lane, and Mike Kubik and son Nick. We fished with Capt Jim Gray on the Mary R out of Saint Jerome’s Creek in Ridge, Md. Capt Jim took us out to the Chesapeake Bay were we setup to troll for some nice big Rocks. This was a matless trip, which make it a nice experience for those who love to work the rods and nets themselves. We drew cards to see who was going first and Sam was #1. After Steve and I sent out all the rods we had are first knock down and Sam landed a nice 37 inch Rock then Mike with a 29 inch rock, his son Nick pulled in 35 inch Rock, I pulled in a nice 33 inch, Bob managed a 32 inch Rock, and Steve who pulled the last card managed a 31 inch Rock. Bob started to feel real bad, so we headed in, but Sam’s turn was up before we started to pull in all the roads and he managed another 37 inch rock We had to release 4 Rock because we were over are size limit. The days total was 11 Rock with 7 on ice. You cannot ask for a better day of fishing and not being at work.
